lone tree

This lone tree, on its gently rolling hill, is symbolic of all the simple things that add up to a life worth living, a land worth protecting, and a world worth saving.
It’s the last tree or the first tree, as important and as beautiful as the entire forest.
Its stark loneliness reminds me to cherish each solitary moment and all of the beautiful things around me each and every ordinary day.
