Painting Challenge #2
I’m participating in a “7 Week Painting Challenge”, an online painting class with San Francisco artist Tesia Blackburn.
This week’s challenge was to do a painting in response to the pictograph style of Adolph Gottleib, an American abstract expressionist painter, sculptor and printmaker. (March 14, 1903 – March 4, 1974).
I had to make it quick because I was goofing off in Las Vegas since the last class and had only today to complete the assignment! (sorry Adolph)…
The grey pigment you see is Stainless Steel Coarse fluid acrylic by Golden. In real life it has a metallic sheen.
16″ x 20” Acrylic on Canvas
