  1. Beautiful work as always Deb. In a whimsical moment, I thought you captured a good representation of my best moments on ice. I think I look very similar to the painting on my way down. It really does give the vision of motion frozen in time.

    • Hi Steve; I scraped light coatings of paint along the surface of the paper using a credit card, and created some surface lines by lifting off some paint by scraping it with a large nail. The dark blue spatters were created by flicking paint off of a toothbrush that had been saturated with thinned acrylic paint. Thanks so much for asking!       • Excellent work! I like the ideas involved. There’s a pleasing geometry to this piece that is compelling. The stone like texture draws the eye about the visual plane. Very inspiring 🙂
