Painting: El Encanto Cantina 1996

Here’s a watercolour I found in my art files today. I painted this in January of 1996 when we lived in Scottsdale, Arizona. This cool restaurant “El Encanto Cantina”, was a favourite breakfast spot in nearby Cave Creek.

      • Fantastic and best of luck with the gallery!! If you do happen to make prints I would love a copy of this, El Encanto is very near and dear to my heart.

      • I will. Thanks again for liking. Before I frame any paintings I’m going to shoot hi res photos to make prints. What is your story about El Encanto? I haven’t been back to the area in so long I don’t even know if it’s still there. I did this painting almost 20 years ago.

  1. Beautiful scene Deb. I love the complexity of the color layering and just enough detail to let the eye and mind fill in the rest.
