More pages from my sketchbook. From these drawings I sometimes get inspiration for paintings. And sometimes not, but I can’t stop drawing – and it keeps me out of trouble. 🙂

I think instead of taking my concentration, drawing & painting help me to concentrate better. Making art narrows my focus. For instance – I’m under the weather (just a rotten cold), and to override how miserable I feel I’m going to go paint something while listening to music to take my mind off it and pass the time. (hope I’m making sense…) Thank you again for your nice comments and enjoy the weekend.

I really love these. I can’t imagine the concentration it must take to elaborate such detail.

Thank you – actually it’s pretty much mindless… I draw while watching tv in the evenings. Funny thing is that sometimes when I look at a drawing I can remember what I was watching when I did it … usually something on the National Geographic channel. 🙂

That’s amazing 🙂 I’ve always heard that art should express itself without much overt engineering by the artist. It sounds like you have tuned into that very well. You can at least multi-task very well 🙂
