I’m reposting this painting because I made some revisions to it, specifically the wine glass and paint coverage in the “moon face”. Scroll all the way down to see the first version.

Cool. The wine looks more wine-y, rich like a Merlot. ; ) The colors are toned down a little in a good way, too. Or is that just the photograph/digital image? Anyway, looking good!

thank you! it was meant to be a quick, loose piece, but that skewed wineglass with the liquid line going the wrong way really got to my graphic designer side of my brain where everything needs to “line up”.

Oh, by the way, GOOD EYE. The newer images are warmer – just the lighting – hence the colour shift you noticed. I think the new images are truer to the original. I take these photos with an iPhone6. I throw the painting on the floor, line it up with the wood flooring lines, and depending on the ambient light, I usually get it close. If not, I’ll reshoot another time. Really not very correct, I know, but then it’s just being viewed on computer monitors and how many of those have been calibrated. LoL… If I’m going to reproduce any of these, I’ll do it right. 🙂
