“Half”
Watercolours & Pencil & Acrylics on Paper
Approx 10.5″ x 14″ (about 26.6 cm x 35.5 cm)
The paper curls a bit, but I’ll flatten it by lightly misting the back of the paper with water, then sandwich it between two sheets of wax paper, then cover it with a large piece of corrugated cardboard, and press it overnight with a weight on top (I use a big pail of Gesso as a weight). It turns out perfectly flat and ready for framing.

In cases such as these I use a book-binder press. 🙂

Ahh! Wonderful abstract, the addition of the white allows the color and texture to pop off the page.

Something different! I said, “Here goes nuthin’!” I’m going to do an additional post with in-progress pics so WordPress-Land can see start to finish and get a taste of the compositional dilemmas. 🙂
