Oil pastel blurred with Turpenoid.

^ Experimenting with oil pastel on gessoed paper, brushed and wiped with Turpenoid to blur hard edges and get a watercolour-like effect.

Easily scribed lines and swirls into the surface, not really knowing what will take shape.

^ let's see what turquoise acrylic ink will do, drawing with the top and plunger directly to paper surface.

^ Very juicy ink. I'm forced to let it dry, but patted it in some areas to speed up the process and vary the colour saturation.
