Painting: Coastal Vineyards

Coastal Vineyards

Shimmery, glimmery iridescent gold
and a touch of silver glitter that twinkles in the sky and sea.

As a distant rain falls on shadowy hills
the sun touches vineyards setting them aglow.

Acrylics & Glitter on a ground of Fiber Paste & Crackle Paste on birch panel.
18″ x 24″ x 1.5″ (approx 45.7 cm x 61 cm x 3.8 cm)

  1. “There is a crack in everything. Thats how the light gets in.” Leonard Cohen. I very much like the way in which this painting draws us into the “heart” of our Earth Mother and reminds us that the darkness we create above the earth has consequences. Very nice.
