Mixed Media on Birch Panels 8″ x 8″ x 1.5″ (about 20.3 cm x 20.3 cm x 3.8 cm).
Acrylic grounds and pigments with ink.
A matte coating is poured to give these a fun “faux-encaustic” waxy look. I’ve left the 1.5″ Birch edges completely clean.

TOO MUCH FUN! I got a little obsessed and have done a bunch of these small paintings with variations.
